Just a short post today, mainly for #miniaturemonday – Continuing the Eldar-theme of recent posts, I decided to work on finishing off my Reaver Jetbikes this weekend, who’ve been sat in a state of half-completion since I got them back in 2011! I’ve sold off almost all of my Dark Eldar in the last few months, since I was hardly using them, although I’ve kept a few of my favourite models for use in small games or as allies to my Eldar.
The usual coal-black, followed by a first-stage highlight of Kabalite Green and a final extreme edge highlight of Sybarite Green was all they really needed, although looking at them again I may revisit the red areas and give them a bit of definition with some Wild Rider Red highlights.

I also worked on another Eldar Guardian, bringing his unit up to 7 out of 10 models with a new paint scheme. The lazy part of me didn’t want to strip these guys down and eliminate the terrible mould lines first, so they’re not my finest work in that respect, but as gaming pieces they’ll do for me:

I’m planning to finish all of the models first, then complete the bases as one, as I’m contemplating changing the colours on the bases from brown to something else, but I’m currently undecided on that.
Here he is with the rest of his unit:
